Terms of Service

Last updated: October 7, 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of TableQR — the website, the dashboard, the guest menu pages and related services (the “Service”) operated by Table QR LLC (“TableQR”, “we”, “us”). Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data.

1. Agreement to these Terms

By creating an account, accepting an invitation to an organization or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that business, and “you” refers to it as well.

The Service is intended for businesses and their staff. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. Guests who only open a venue’s menu or place an order through it do not need an account; the venue they visit is responsible for its own terms with them.

2. The Service

TableQR lets restaurants and other venues build digital menus, publish them on public menu pages reached by QR code, manage locations, products, prices and teams, receive guest orders that are passed to the venue’s staff, and view usage statistics. Which features and limits you get depends on your plan, as shown on the billing page.

We keep improving the Service, so features may be added, changed or removed. If we remove a feature you pay for in a way that materially reduces the Service, we will tell you in advance where practical.

3. Your account

You must give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date. You can sign up with an email address and password or, where offered, with a Google or Apple account; when you use Google or Apple, their terms also apply to that account.

Keep your credentials confidential and tell us promptly at support@table-qr.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account, for the people you invite to your organization and for the roles you give them.

4. Trials, plans and payment

A new organization starts with a free trial. Its length and the features it includes are shown when the trial starts, and no payment method is needed to start it. When the trial ends, features that require a paid plan stop working until you subscribe.

Paid plans and add-ons are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, in the currency shown at checkout. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it processes the payment, issues the invoice and handles sales tax, and Paddle’s buyer terms apply to the purchase. We never receive or store your full card details.

  • Upgrades take effect immediately; the difference for the current period is charged on a prorated basis.
  • Downgrades take effect immediately; the unused part of the current period on the previous plan is credited to your balance and applied to your next payments.
  • You can cancel at any time from the billing page. The subscription stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and you can resume it before then.
  • We will tell you before a price change takes effect; a new price applies from your next renewal.

Refunds are handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record, in line with its buyer terms and the consumer law that applies to you. To request one, contact Paddle or write to us at support@table-qr.com.

5. Your content

Menus, descriptions, prices, images, logos and other material you add (“your content”) remain yours. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, adapt (for example, resize an image or reformat text for different screens) and display your content only as far as needed to operate and secure the Service — including publishing your menu pages to your guests. The licence ends when your content is deleted from the Service, except for copies kept in backups for a limited time or where the law requires us to keep them.

You confirm that you have the rights to your content and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights or break any law.

6. Your menus, orders and guests

You are responsible for what your menu pages say and for how you serve your guests. In particular:

  • prices, descriptions, allergen, dietary and nutrition information, and any notices the law requires are yours to get right and keep current — we display what you enter and do not verify it;
  • guest orders placed through your pages are between you and your guests: we pass them to your staff, but fulfilment, payment at the venue, receipts and taxes are your responsibility;
  • if you collect personal data from your guests through the Service, or enable marketing integrations such as advertising pixels, you are responsible for having a lawful basis and for configuring consent correctly. We process that data on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for anything unlawful, deceptive or harmful, or to publish content that infringes the rights of others;
  • upload malware, or try to break, probe or bypass the Service’s security, rate limits or plan limits;
  • access the Service by automated means other than the features we provide for that purpose, or put an unreasonable load on it;
  • copy, resell or reverse-engineer the Service, except where the law expressly allows it;
  • use the Service to send spam or other unsolicited messages.

We may remove content or restrict access that breaks these rules. We will tell you when we do, unless the law or the security of the Service prevents it.

8. Our intellectual property

The Service, its software and design, and the TableQR name and logo belong to us or our licensors. These Terms give you the right to use the Service while your account is active; they do not transfer any ownership to you. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

9. Third-party services

The Service works with services run by others — for example Google and Apple sign-in, Paddle for payments, and the marketing tools you choose to connect. Their own terms and privacy policies govern your use of them, and we are not responsible for their availability or content.

10. Availability

We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not offer a service-level agreement unless we have signed one with you. We may need to pause parts of the Service for maintenance, for security, or for reasons outside our control.

11. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in your account settings. Organizations where you are the only member are deleted together with your account; if you are the last owner of an organization that has other members, you need to transfer ownership first. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data afterwards.

We may suspend or close an account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if payment for a paid plan fails and is not resolved, or if we must do so to protect the Service or other users, or to comply with the law. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

The sections on your content, our intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity continue to apply after your account ends.

12. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by contract.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the fees paid for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

14. Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against us arising from your content, your menus or your dealings with your guests, or from your breach of these Terms or of the law, you will cover the reasonable costs and losses we incur because of that claim. We will tell you about the claim promptly and let you take part in its defence.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect; the date at the top shows when the Terms last changed. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply. If you do not agree, you can stop using the Service and delete your account.

16. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours to a successor of our business. These Terms may be translated; if the versions differ, the English version prevails.
